Students who have passed || PUC in any discipline with 50% marks
Candidate shall have passed PUC / 10 + 2 / PDC / Intermediate / Higher Sec. exam in Science examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
Note: Provided that a student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the program.
A pass in D. Pharmacy course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

B. Pharmacy Degree and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B. Pharm.)
A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.
An honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act with at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages.
Candidates who have passed Bachelor/ Master degree through correspondence / Open University System from this university or from any other university, recognized by law, are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree programme must be 3 + 2 years

Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.

Students of Vocational Courses: 10+2 vocational course of State Government of Kerala with 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to +2 Examination/Karnataka Pre University course form the academic year 2005-06 and onwards. Marks obtained by the candidate in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology to be considered for assessing the eligibility as per the ordinances governing Basic B.Sc Nursing course of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences vide Notification No: RGUHS/SEF/EC.B.Sc Nsg/191/2005-06 dated 18.05.2006.

A Candidate Seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science Degree Course in the Allied Health Sciences Course shall have studied English as one of the principal subject during the tenure of the course expect for B.SC Imaging Technology shall have passed
1.Two year Pre-University Examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Subjects of study.
2.Pre-Degree Course from a recognized University considered as equivalent by RGUHS, (Two years after ten years of schooling) with physics, chemistry and Biology as Subjects of Study.
3.Any equivalent examination recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Subjects of study.
4.The Vocational higher Secondary Education Course Conducted by vocational Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in additional to Vocational Subjects Conducted is Considered Equivalent to plus TWO Examination of Government of Karnataka Pre University Course.
5.Candidates with two years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a Subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health Science Course Mentioned in Sl.No.1 to 10 shall have passed plus 12 [10+2] with Physics, chemistry and Biology, as principal subjects or candidate with 3years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health Science Course mentioned in Sl.No.1 to 10 should have studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry as a Principal Subjects during the tenure of the course.
6.Lateral entry to second year for allied health science courses for candidates who have passed diploma program from the government Board and recognized by RGUHS, fulfilling the conditions specified above under Sl.No.5 and these students are eligible to take admission on lateral entry system only in the same subject studied at diploma level from the academic year 2008-09 vide RGUHS Notification no.AUTH/AH/317/2008-09 dated 01.08.2008.
7.In case of admission to B.SC. Imaging Technology or B.SC .Radiotherapy Technology the candidate should have passed Pre-University or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, as principal subjects of study.
Note:The candidate shall have passed individually in each of the subjects.Candidates who have completed diploma or vocational course through correspondence shall not be eligible for any of the courses mentioned above.
The duration of the above courses will be of two years for PUC candidates.
The candidates with SSLC qualification shall study for three years. English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology of PUC standard shall be taught in the first year of the course to these students.
The minimum qualification prescribed for admission to the above courses shall be a pass in II PUC with Science subjects PCB., PCMB., CBZ., except for Diploma in Medical Records Technology for which minimum qualification would be II PUC with any optional subjects such as Science/Arts/Commerce. Those trained in English Typing or in basic Computer knowledge will be given preference.
Candidates with S.S.L.C. qualification except for Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology course
The candidate should have attained the minimum age of 15 years as on 31st December prior to the year of admission. Upper age limit would be 35 years.
A Candidate Seeking admission to PUC shall have passed
Secondary School Examination (Grade 10 public examination) Conducted by respected state boards or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE-ICSE/ISC) or any other equivalent examination by Government of India approved boards.
Direct admission with age proof certificate and Aadhar card of the child.
Students promoted to the subsequent class are eligible for admission on submission of Transfer / School Leaving Certificate (TC) duly countersigned by the appropriate authority, Aadhar card and the marks sheet of the lower class. TC if not submitted at the time of joining, is to be submitted within 30 days of joining, failing which the student is liable for withdrawal. Students seeking admission in to Grade IX must have studied three languages in Grade VIII.
